Tab Trade — The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That should round things out once it is live.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, get more info and the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
