What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
